    General Conditions
   

1. Whenever possible materials are shipped within a 500 mile radius of the project and conform to our purchasing guidelines. Manufacturers are routinely reviewed for their commitment to practices conforming to International Standards Organization (ISO) 9000 and 14001 (and other sustainable practices).

 
    General Pricing
   

1. Final pricing is site specific. Estimates and budgets are provided as a price range based on the most extreme conditions and specifications.

 
   

2. Final pricing may be compared to individual component costs which are used for the contracted site only. It is not assumed the same price will apply to another project. It is not assumed the same price will apply to different quantities.

 
   

3. Because freight cost is such an important ingredient in pricing materials for waterfront construction, every attempt is made to consolidate quantities with other shipments. If this procedure causes delivery delays which are unacceptable, we require written agreement of an amended terms and conditions form.

 
   

4. Contractor is expected to review all shipments for correct quantities and condition of material. All freight claims and shortages require complete documentation.

 
   

Site Specific Pricing - SeaFlex

    Seaflex material costs vary -- dead and live load of the dock sections, wave action, water depth, wind load, and boat profile, all contribute to anchoring calculations. Obviously no one Seaflex installation is priced the same as another. SeaFlex Checklsit (pdf)
     
    Freight & Flotation Pricing
   

Actual delivered prices per float can vary significantly depending on your location, the location of distribution in relation to you, and the actual shipping costs in today's fluctuating fuel market.

Some float sizes can be shipped via FedEx Ground, while all other sizes must be shipped by common carrier. Shipping truck load quantities and consolidating truck load quantities are priorities, unless otherwise noted.
